COURSE PURPOSE
This 26-week course is designed to give students a strong foundation in Hoodoo as an African American spiritual and folk tradition while teaching them how to develop a responsible personal practice.
Students will study history, ancestral research, ancestor veneration, spirit work, traditional roots and herbs, prayer, petitions, spiritual cleansing, protection, candle work, timing, jars, poppets, cow tongue work, divination, and practical conjure.
