Working With Vivianite

If your candle contains, accompanies, or is inspired by actual vivianite, remember that a spiritual association is not the same thing as a scientifically established metaphysical property. Vivianite is also a relatively soft, light-sensitive mineral, so specimens are best handled carefully and protected from prolonged bright light.

For ancestral work, you do not need human remains, grave material, or anything removed from a burial site to work this candle. A name, photograph, family story, glass of water, prayer, or treasured family object can provide a meaningful focus for remembrance according to your tradition.

Candle Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
